The role
Develop your editing skills while creating short-form videos, reels and social clips. Work alongside senior editors and learn to use AI tools to improve speed and quality. This is a separate junior opportunity from our experienced AI Video Editor opening; advanced professional experience is not required.
What you’ll own
- Edit short-form videos, reels and social clips.
- Add captions, transitions, graphics and basic effects.
- Repurpose long-form content into engaging short-form videos.
- Use AI editing tools to improve speed and efficiency.
- Work alongside senior editors and apply feedback to improve quality.
What you’ll bring
- Basic editing proficiency and an understanding of modern social video formats.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted editing tools and willingness to learn.
- Links to completed edits showing your own work; personal or practice projects are welcome.
Your first 90 days
- First 30 days: learn the editing standards and complete supervised short-form edits.
- By day 60: deliver clips with clear captions and consistent pacing, applying senior editor feedback.
- By day 90: manage an agreed clip workload and demonstrate a dependable AI-assisted workflow.
All ranges are in USD. Full-time roles show annual base salary; part-time, project and fractional roles show hourly rates. Commission is separate from base pay. All roles are in person in downtown Orlando, Florida. Final pay, scope, hours and any commission terms will be agreed in writing before an offer or engagement.
